100% hand-tufted rugs
All the rugs of our signature Tapis Amis collection are hand-tufted by our team of local craftsmen in India. They are made from 100% wool with a cotton backing.
It all starts with drawing the design onto the fabric. After drawing the design, the colours are picked and the tufting can start, colour by colour.
Step by step
Shave, cut and go!
When the tufting is done, the craftspeople starts with attaching the cotton backing. After this, all sides are finished with woollen threads by hand.
The rugs get their last shave and cut and are ready to travel the globe!
