Brass Gold Cutlery
Bring warmth and character to the table with our brass cutlery. The golden color adds a festive touch to every meal – from weekday dinners to lavish feasts. Each piece of cutlery is handmade and has a unique, playful character that perfectly fits Doing Goods’ philosophy: no mass production, but care and craftsmanship.
Cutlery set: handmade and durable
Our brass cutlery sets are not only beautiful but also made to last. Whether you’re looking for a complete set or individual forks, knives, and spoons: you’re choosing something truly special. Over time, the brass develops a natural patina, which only adds to its charm. Prefer to keep the golden shine? A gentle polish will make it look as good as new in no time.
What should you look for when buying cutlery?
When choosing cutlery, pay attention to the material, finish, and how it feels in your hand. Solid brass is heavier than standard stainless steel, but that weight gives a luxurious feel. Choose cutlery that matches your style and is suitable for everyday use. And if you’re after something truly unique? Handmade brass is the way to go.
Which cutlery stays beautiful?
Brass cutlery stays beautiful if you treat it with care. Rinse after use and avoid harsh cleaning agents. Although brass will naturally become a bit duller over time, you can easily refresh it with a brass polish. At Doing Goods, every piece is handmade – and it shows. Your cutlery will remain not only beautiful but also truly special.
How do you set cutlery? Serving etiquette
A beautiful dinner deserves more than delicious food – it needs a well-set table. According to etiquette, place cutlery in the order of use, from the outside in. Forks go to the left of the plate, knives and spoons to the right. The cutting edge of the knife always faces the plate. Above the plate, you can optionally place a dessert spoon or fork.
When you finish a course, place your cutlery at 4 and 10 o’clock on the plate (like a clock face) to indicate you are done. Want to take a break? Place your knife and fork in an inverted V on your plate.
With Doing Goods’ brass cutlery, your table setting will have a warm, unique look. Whether you’re hosting friends for dinner or planning a festive meal, the right presentation makes all the difference.
