Maison & Objet 2026: Backstage pass
Consider this your backstage pass.
We’re taking you behind the scenes. Not just showing what our stand looks like, but how it comes to life once the doors open, the moments in between, the details you normally don’t see, and the people who make it all happen.
Maison & Objet in Paris is one of those moments where everything comes together. It’s an international trade show where brands, buyers and creatives from all over the world meet to discover new collections and worlds in the making. For us, it’s where months of designing, traveling and planning finally step out of the studio and into the real world.
Once the stand is built and the show days begin, the rhythm shifts. The sales team takes the lead, conversations start, orders are placed.
And just like in real life, things don’t always go exactly as planned.
The coffee machine decides to stop working right when you need it most, so Jan runs out to buy a new one. Customers carefully select unique Sari Sari pieces, which then find their way into our organised-not-so-organised storage corner.
Every morning starts with cleaning, styling and getting the stand ready again before the doors open.
In between all of this, we try to capture it on camera – small moments, details, quick behind-the-scenes shots while doing what matters most: meeting our customers, having real conversations and inviting people into our world.
These small, very human moments are just as much part of the story as the final result. Behind the scenes, it’s busy, sometimes chaotic, and always a team effort.
This is Maison & Objet from the Doing goods perspective.
This is how our world comes to life.
